“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you, but have taught you publicly from house to house.” Acts 20:20
A Discipleship Group is typically composed of four to fifteen people who meet together on a regular basis as a means of growing closer to Jesus Christ and to each other as friends.
A Discipleship Group is capable of becoming a small core group within a larger church setting - the leader provides a shepherding ministry while all the group members are encouraged to use their God given gifts to develop and maintain a healthy spiritual environment.
A Discipleship Group is a natural place for new church attendees to become assimilated into the life of the fellowship. We want all of our care groups to be known as “open” groups, eager to welcome new members.
A Discipleship Group is likely to become a home away from home for those who attend. It is common to see Discipleship Groups become as close as family, and develop meaningful lifetime friendships.
